Dominique Delagnes
CEO

Dominique Delagnes is the CEO for Averhealth. She leads a nationwide team of managers and clinicians who ensure things run smoothly at Averhealth’s laboratory in St. Louis, Missouri and patient service centers across the U.S.

Dominique is no stranger to substance use testing and toxicology, having spent 20 years in senior leadership roles in operations, account management, and customer service for companies like Alere Toxicology (Abbott) and PharmaChem. Dominique grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She moved to the East Coast to attend Boston University where she was a proud member of the BU women’s rowing team. She received her Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in operations management.

Vikram Menon
Chief Technology Officer

Vikram Menon is the Chief Technology Officer for Averhealth. He is an accomplished technology executive with over 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams and transforming organizations across multiple industries including health and wellness, online education, digital advertising, and InsureTech.

Nick Runge
Vice President of Operations

With an eclectic background in retail, accounting, and a stint as a software systems analyst, Nick Runge is now Vice President of Operations for Averhealth where he is passionate about solving customer and operations challenges. He began with Averhealth six years ago as an area manager for Missouri, and now directs a team of area and regional managers for Averhealth sites across the U.S.

Nick has a knack for managing large teams of people and moving up quickly in organizations where he’s worked. A native of St. Louis, he has lived all over Europe and has traveled all around the U.S. When he’s not out riding his Harley, Nick enjoys doing home improvement projects.

Justin Manni
Vice President of Business Development

Justin Manni is the Vice President of Business Development at Averhealth.  He is also a nationally recognized mentor and leader that provides insights, advanced communication techniques, project management skills, and growth strategy to government and private professionals across the country. 

In his free time, you can find Justin in the kitchen focusing on his passion for fresh ingredients and spending time with his loved ones.

Brooke Halsey
Vice President of Finance

Brooke Halsey, Vice President of Finance, manages accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis for Averhealth. She has over 10 years of accounting experience with companies in the Pacific Northwest and the greater Virginia area. She brings experience in a broad range of industries, including public accounting, health care, insurance, and government. Brooke, a Certified Public Accountant, received her BA in Accounting from the University of Oregon.

Tonya Mitchell
Laboratory Director

Dr. Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in both forensic and clinical toxicology. The first nine years were spent in the state crime lab in South Carolina, after which she worked in several clinical toxicology labs. In recent years, she was Chief Toxicologist for the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner in Phoenix and the West Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Dr. Mitchell brings her experience to Averhealth to support the outstanding lab staff with laboratory accreditation and quality management. Dr. Mitchell earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of South Carolina and has a BS in Biochemistry from Auburn University.

Michele Glinn, PhD, F-ABFT
Toxicologist

Dr. Michele Glinn serves as the toxicologist for Averhealth’s toxicology lab in St. Louis where she oversees screening and confirmation testing for judicial customers and health care providers. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, a fellow of the American Board of Forensic Toxicology, a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Standards Board, and has served as vice president, president and past-president of the Midwestern Association for Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

Michele is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She received a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and a PhD in biochemistry from Wayne State University, where her field of specialization was substrate metabolism and its relationship to neurochemical diseases. She spent several years at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis as a postdoctoral and visiting scientist, then served as assistant director of the Indiana State Department of Toxicology where she helped administer statewide breath alcohol and drug testing programs. Michele spent 12 years with the Michigan State Police toxicology unit as the supervisor and program coordinator of the Lansing laboratory. Prior to joining Averhealth, she served as laboratory director for Timberlands (formerly Essential) Testing LLC.

Shannon Spencer
Laboratory Site Director

Shannon Spencer is the Laboratory Site Director at Averhealth, where she has dedicated over 10 years to the toxicology field. Joining Averhealth in 2014 as an entry-level screening technician, she was part of the team that established Averhealth’s laboratory services.

As Laboratory Site Director, Shannon leverages her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a decade of experience in toxicology to lead and mentor the lab staff. She fosters a positive and productive work environment while guiding professional development across the laboratory staff. As a member of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT), Shannon demonstrates a commitment to professional excellence and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field.

Shannon's primary responsibilities include overseeing daily laboratory operations and ensuring efficient production across all teams. This involves guiding the strategic goals and objectives of the managers of the lab accessioning team, the screening technician team, and the LCMS prep team, ultimately ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality results. She is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all aspects of Averhealth’s laboratory operations.
