Our patients’ health and welfare remain paramount. Today, we are deeply saddened by the loss of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the far too many lives lost before them. The COVID-19 pandemic presented angry seas that we masterfully navigated as a community by safely and compositionally extending care to a highly vulnerable population that needs us now more than ever. The recent distress experienced by our nation adds yet another layer of grief and anxiety, that we experience, that our patients experience, and that is especially experienced by families of color or other minority groups. What can Averhealth do to help? Smile. Provide a warm welcome to all patients. Wish the patient a good day. We are optimistic that by expressing grace, kindness, and simple niceties we will all enjoy a bright future.
We hope that there is no question where Averhealth stands as an organization. If there is, look no further than our mission for an answer. Our mission is to help reclaim lives, unite families, and strengthen communities. This includes lives, families, and communities of all races, ages, ethnicities, and religions with a particular focus on those who need the most help. Part of our organizational core is also a relentless ambition to be better in all regards, including what we can do to help end racial injustices and inequalities.
